VANILLA CAKE INGREDIENTS:
►2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour (318 grams)
►1 Tbsp baking powder
►1/2 tsp salt
►1 cup unsalted butter, softened
►1 1/2 cup granulated sugar
►4 large eggs, room temperature
►4 tsp pure vanilla extract
►1 cup buttermilk or plain kefir, room temperature

BUTTERCREAM FROSTING INGREDIENTS:
►1 1/2 cups unsalted butter at room temperature
►4 1/2 to 5 cups powdered sugar or added to taste
►1/4 tsp salt or to taste
►4 tsp vanilla extract
►3-4 Tbsp heavy cream
