SoFi Sues Biden Administration Over Student Loan Payment Pause
SoFi sues to end the payment and interest pause. I think they did this after listening to the SC case and deciding that the Admin would not be ending the pause if they lost. SoFi likely wants to get a case in front of the court for this term instead of waiting til mid 2024.
Does the WH plan to end the payment pause in August or Sept? I don’t believe so. I think their plan was to cancel via HEA after losing at the SC, and then extending the pause until the next election when GOP sued. That’s why SoFi sued now and not before.
