Flipgrid Live Event: Climate Action over Climate Activism
Join us for a special Flipgrid Live Event with three students working on some unique sustainability projects aiming at solving some of the world's biggest problems. Naila, Sophia and Mir Ali will share about their work, inspire your learners to become problem solvers and remind all of us that every action can change the world.
Naila, Jesse and Mir Ali are all students at TKS- a 10-month global innovation program with weekly sessions for students aged 13-17. TKS was developed with CEOs and global leaders, modeled after curriculums from Stanford, Harvard, and MIT, and is designed to replicate the learning environment and culture of Silicon Valley.
ABOUT TKS
The Knowledge Society (TKS), is a global accelerator program for driven students ages 13-17. The fully virtual program runs for 10 months from September 2022 to June 2023. During the year, students develop foundational mindsets, build projects using emerging technologies (e.g. artificial intelligence, quantum computing, synthetic biology...), develop life-long relationships and networks with like-minded students from around the world, and build real-work skills like presenting, communicating, teamwork, and networking. There is an application and interview process to be accepted. Financial aid is provided for students, covering up to 100% of tuition. TKS was named a "School of the Future" by the World Economic Forum and has been written about in Forbes and Fast Company. Early applications are now open. You can learn more at www.tks.world/
