To crop an image in Google Docs, first insert the image into your document by clicking Insert - Image and choosing your picture. Once the image is in your document, click on it to select it. You’ll see a toolbar with several icons above or below the image. Click the crop icon it looks like a square with diagonal lines through the corners. Drag the black cropping handles on the edges and corners of the image to select the area you want to keep.
