Elive is a Debian-based Linux distribution. Elive uses Enlightenment instead of GNOME or KDE.
Elive is a fully functional distribution that also includes a Live CD, which users can boot from to see what it's all about and easily install on their computer (hard drive).
Elive uses UnionFS, which allows you to install programs and additional packages using Synaptic Package Manager or APT while the computer is booted and running from the Live CD.
