This video shows how to validate a contact on the NetApp Support Site. When a contact does not login to Support Site or no case is created for a period of 6 months. Then the contact will reflect as Not Validated. If a contact is not validated, then any case created via AutoSupport will not flow end to end and might delay the support case actions. It will always advised to keep the contact validated to ensure there is no Support Impacts.
The Contacts with Support Admin role can only validate other contacts. If a user requires Support Admin role, use the below link to submit a request to upgrade their access:
