Laravel and SQL server database connection
If you use Xampp or another web server, by default we cannot actually use the SQL Server database in the Laravel application that we build, because there are several configurations that we have to do so that Laravel can access the SQL Server database. The first step is to install the pdo_sqlsrv extension, which is used to connect from PHP to SQL Server. However, before proceeding with the installation and configuration, please select and download the extension according to your PHP version from the link below.
