Why Yuta Okkotsu is Special-Grade

Yuta Okkotsu was destined for death, literally being sentenced to execution if not for the political interference of Satoru Gojo, the strongest modern era Sorcerer. Since then he nearly immediately gained Special-Grade status and became one of Jujutsu Kaisens greatest prodigies and the next Satoru Gojo. Even those who didn’t know Yuta Okkotsu like Yuji Itadori, felt his aura and confident he was immensely powerful just from his rank alone. Special-Grade, the same rank as Satoru Gojo. We’re not even sure if Gojo himself was granted Special-Grade by the time he awakened against Toji Zenin, yet Yuta is ranked Special-Grade, loses his status and returns to Grade-4 only to return once again to Special-Grade Status. But what exactly makes Okkotsu Special-Grade, the rank itself isn’t exactly to well explained and we’re not sure what exactly being Special-Grade entails.
