Each Tuesday, we will be releasing a tech tip video that will give users information on various topics relating to our Storinator storage servers.

In this week's tech tip, Mitch is back to talk about migrating virtual machines. Specifically, he gives a walkthrough on how to move your VMs from VMWare to proxmox.

We mentioned in the video that this process should work for any KVM based virtual environment, and while it is true the process of moving the NFS/iSCSI mounts and moving the VMDK's over to your Linux based system will work universally, the tool you use to convert the images may differ slightly. For Ovirt, you will want to look at the qemu-img tool.
