Everything you need to know for Oktoberfest Munich 2025
1. Don’t wait till October as Oktoberfest starts from September. This year it is happening from 21st September to 6th Oct
2. Where to stay: Please note. It is going to be very expensive to stay anywhere in Munich . So, there are 2 things you could do: 1. Camping sites. 2. Nearby cities
3. Tickets for Oktoberfest- only for groups.
4. Dancing on the benches is allowed however, you must not stand on the tables.
5. Girls & boys Watch out for the Drindle : a bow on the left means you're single, a bow on the right means you're taken & a bow in the middle means you’re a virgin.
6. Talking about beers, Not only does it have a higher alcohol content than regular beer, it also tastes good. So, drink carefully!
7. Do not forget to carry cash because inside tents the cards are not accepted. Also, a lot of cash as the beers are pretty expensive.
