The gas boiler fan installed in turbocharged wall-mounted boilers removes exhaust gases during combustion. The turbine operates before burner ignition to purge the combustion chamber and check the operation of the exhaust system. After the burner has extinguished, the fan continues to operate for approximately 20 seconds to ventilate the combustion chamber and remove residual heat from the heat exchanger. Turbine operation is monitored by an air pressure switch, which monitors draft and the pressure difference within the fan housing and outside it. Turbocharged boilers are designed for operation with periodic maintenance, including cleaning of the turbine blades, to ensure reliable and safe operation.
