In this video we use the AudioCipher text-to-MIDI VST to turn the word "DRAGON" into a chord progression. Then we use our own creativity to add a few instrument layers: bass, drums, melody and counter melody.
When the idea is finished, we bounce the audio and MIDI files, drag them into the MIDI Vault section of AudioCipher. This is where we add meta tags, BPM, key signature, a rating, and any other notes we want to include.
Just like that, we've used AudioCipher to kickstart a song concept, build it out in our DAW, and then use the same app on the tail end to save those ideas for a future session.
The MIDI Vault file manager and Text-to-MIDI generator are both included in AudioCipher Version 4.
