Optimization - Optical System Design
Optimization improves the performance of an optical system based upon an initial design. First, define which parameters OpticStudio is free to optimize. Second, define your specification using the Optimization Wizard and add any other constraints wanted. Lastly, select "Optimize" and OpticStudio does the rest. OpticStudio automatically chooses optimal derivative increments and damping factors at every iteration.
OpticStudio can take on any challenge for improving the optical performance of your system with 2 separate local optimizers and 2 distinct global optimizers.
