Richard Esplin - Product Vision for Community edition
Alfresco Software controls the official distribution of Alfresco Community Edition, and have built their business around derivative products and services. Alfresco wants Community Edition to be widely adopted, but wants to leave an incentive for people to buy the proprietary Enterprise Edition. This presentation explains the rationale Alfresco uses in determining what development should be part of the open core, and what development should be Enterprise-only.
