We experience solstices because of Earth's tilt and its journey around the sun.

💡 Tilted Earth: Our planet isn't upright, it's tilted at an angle of about 23.5 degrees as it orbits the sun.

💡 Sun's Spotlight: Throughout the year, this tilt means different hemispheres get more direct sunlight at different times.

💡 Summer Solstice Spotlight: On the June solstice (around June 20-22), the Northern Hemisphere is tilted towards the sun, receiving the most sunlight hours and marking the start of summer.
