Just when Sonic is about to pop out from the menu, quickly press up up down down up up up up. If done correctly, you would have heard the ring sound. Restart and try again if you did not get it.
Next, press the start button and enter mania mode. Then, go right to “no save mode”. Then, press the “e” button to open up the options menu. Then, go to debug mode and turn it on.
To enter level select, hold the “q” button for a few seconds and then press the “a” button. This will bring up the level select menu. Pick any stage you like. You can also press the “w” button to change which character shows up on the stage.
Once a stage is chosen, press the “w” button to toggle debug mode on or off. Press the “q” button to put the object in the map. To change objects, press the “a” button. To change the selection of the box, press the “s” button. You can now play around with this and enjoy the game. You can also turn to Super Sonic using the “S” box and breeze through the stage.
Each time you go back to Mania Mode on the menu, you need to always toggle Debug Mode on manually. Happy debugging and thanks for watching!
