DVAM 2021 Two-Fold Focus for CFire LLC
Welcome to DV Awareness Month 2021!! We've got a two-fold focus for DVAM:
1) 3 Top Least-Known DV Abuse Types
2) Abuse Reparations
We just finished several DV Awareness virtual training for organizations in Missouri and Iowa. The participants who have responded to the survey listed 3 abuse types as ones they did not know PRIOR to the training: Spiritual/Religious, Digital, and Revenge Porn. So, we're gonna spend some time on bringing those 3 into the light so you can recognize them!
The other focus this month will be a term we have coined called Abuse Reparations. What does it mean? How do DV survivors get it? We're interviewing 3 Black female DV survivors this month so you can understand that better.
