Adriel Rivera - the sky isn't always blue (How I Made It)
I got the inspiration for “the sky isn’t always blue” after listening to music on Spotify. See like most artists I’ve always wanted to be on a Spotify editorial playlist like “bedroom pop” or “lorem”, but have never made it onto any. But them I kind of realized that I was being a bit hypocritical cause’ I’ve never actually listened to these playlists myself. So after diving into Spotify’s “bedroom pop” and “park hangs” playlist I came across this artist named spill tab. I think they’re a group of two people, but you only ever see one of them. I’ve done research into them, I’m still kind of confused on what’s going on but they make great music nonetheless. The first song I listened to them was “Cotton Candy” and that song was on these Spotify playlists that I listened to. It gave me the inspiration to make a really somber ukulele song, so I started writing “the sky isn’t always blue”.
