In the previous video : • How to use Quandl with Python for Data Ana...
we learnt how to extract data in Quandl using the Python package. The extraction is quite easy:
1- Read the documentation page for the dataset you want to download.
2- Find the code associated with each dataset.
3- Get the data. The code is simple: quandl.get('code')
Now the question is how to extract data from multiple datasets, and add a new column if we need whilst we are downloading the data. In other words, we would like to concatenate all datasets together from Quandl.
This video demonstrates how to do this. The Pandas Concatenation or pd.concat method comes handy here once we read the metadata file by Pandas.
