i was playing through calamity with friends and this theme blessed my ears... i thought it was funny how fitting it was for the way metal sonic is interpreted in exe scenarios
the mention of a "rival", fighting for the sake of a "master", warning of an ultimate threat, who boasts unrivaled strength, surviving previous attempts of destruction and containment...
anyways pretty fitting i think! enough to make me divert from my other animation plans haha
