Backdoor Affected Gigabyte Motherboard - Running a script to check if this board is affected IT IS!
One of my LAN room PCs is impacted by the Gigabyte backdoor in the BIOS/UEFI that has a default app download setting as Enabled. It is not currently that serious an issue, but it has the potential to become one if used as an attack vector in the future. Best practice is to update the BIOS/UEFI if your board is impacted and then check in the BIOS/UEFI settings to ensure the download app is set to Disabled.
