Brakel - Kwadeplas (single, 2024)
Today I bring you a corrupted signal from the darkest recesses of the cosmos. Distorted alien sounds from Brakel - an entity of unknown origins or composition, to be released by Signal Rex.
A bleak, inhospitable sound that shares some of the smothering bleakness and raw tones of Aldebaraan Circle bands, with a cold detachment that chills in a different way to the more corporeal horrors, characterised by a scuttling disturbance and creeping unease that permeates that shifting waves of static.
This is the second single ahead of full album Wranger Wanen, which submits the listener to a near half hour of otherworldly hallucinatory transmissions.
The album is available to preorder now, on CD, vinyl LP, and cassette tape formats. Releases in full on 1st May.
