To see some of my highlights and aim skill changes over 3 years of playing overwatch, check out this video above.
Wanted to see what I looked like while playing with low sensitivity and arm aiming. Doesn't feel like it looks honestly.
**Since a few people asked, the mousepad in the video is the Glorious XXL extended.
I have since switched to an artisan Hien soft as it is higher quality than most mouse pads.**
update since this video I have gone back to experimenting at all sensitivities while aim training and gaming. I have also switched mouse pads and mice (switched from heavy/wired mouse to light and wireless). A light mouse can help alleviate wrist pains. I have a lot of theories on the best sensitivity mouse practices and I think it ultimately comes down to the individual, their peripherals, their loadouts and the individuals aiming strengths/weaknesses, and of course the game at hand.
Btw, I have done extended experimentation with mouse sensitivities in all ranges from min 8cm/360 to max 140cm/360. Each set of ranges has their advantages and disadvantages.
Second Update At the time of linking the highlight video, I am using a Hien Soft XL mousepad, with a razer viper wireless mouse. It is the best I've experienced personally in my entire gaming career. I have been staying in ranges of around 25cm/360 to 55cm/360 more recently and it works great on either end of the spectrum. Going higher is okay as long as you are willing to sacrifice tracking speeds.
Another thing I realized was my body/arm/shoulder had to compensate with weight changes every time I was using a very slow sensitivity and utilizing mostly arm aiming. One advantage of wrist aiming and high sensitivity is you don't need to balance your weight with large swipes since you aren't making any huge arm swipes.
