Latitude E7240: How to Install Win 8.1 Pro [+ "Invalid Partition Table" Solution]

In this video, I walk you through installing a copy of Windows 8.1 Pro onto an E7240.

My E7240 has 8GB RAM and 128 GB SSD.

It is a 64 bit machine and so it is important that you install a 64 bit copy of Win 8.1- otherwise not all the drivers will install correctly.

Another issue that I had with the installation was that every time the laptop restarted during the installation it would display the "invalid partition table" error and I show you my solution to this right at the beginning of the video!

Other than that a full installation took around 9 minutes.

All of the most important drivers were loaded correctly.

However this copy of Win8.1 Pro wasn't activated and I couldn't find a licence key anywhere on my laptop...

I downloaded a version of Win 8.1 Pro from the link below. I used Rufus USB software to turn the ISO into a bootable USB and I didn't modify it in any other way.
