Check out some FAQs Test Innovators and Scoir answered in the chat during the webinar:
Will the student know if they are taking the easy or hard module 2?
No, they will not know which module 2 they are taking.
Will the digital PSAT follow the same format as the digital SAT?
Yes, the format of the digital PSAT is the same as the digital SAT. So it's also section adaptive and has the same question format.
Can students go back to previous questions within each section?
Students are able to go back to questions in each module. However, they are not able to go back to questions in a previous module, or move ahead to the next module.
Are reading and grammar questions now combined into one section?
Yes! There is just one Reading and Writing section.
Can students annotate?
Yes, there is an annotation tool in the testing app.
Will the Bluebook app function the same way for the digital PSAT?
Yes, it's the same app and has the same functionality.
Will Macbooks work?
We recommend checking College Board's technology page for more details on device guidelines.
Can students bring personal Chrombooks?
No. Cromebooks need to be school-managed. I recommend checking out College Board's technology page for device guidelines.
Do students with accommodations currently need to reapply for accommodations on the digital SAT?
If students have approved accommodations for the PSAT 8/9, PSAT/NMSQT, PSAT 10, or AP Exams, then they shouldn't need to apply again.
Is there a paper version of the digital SAT for those that need accommodations?
The paper test for students with accommodations is not adaptive. It is a "linear" test. So it's a little longer. Unless students have an accommodation that requires them to take the digital SAT on paper, then they will have to take it on the computer.
Can a paper SAT score be superscored with a digital SAT score?
It's up to the schools. College Board has done a concordance study so the scores should be able to be used side-by-side. But colleges decide whether or not they want to superscore. If colleges accept superscoring, then yes, the paper SAT score can be superscored with a digital SAT score.
Will Bluebook be available in student's Scoir accounts?
We do not currently have an integration with Bluebook. Bluebook is a testing application from College Board. Students use Bluebook to take the digital SAT and digital AP Exams as well as other College Board exams. Bluebook works in conjunction with Test Day Toolkit, a web app that test center staff use to administer our tests.
You could always bulk upload a link to Bluebook's login page in student's MyDrives for quick access from their Scoir profile.
