How to measure shocks.
In this video, I show how easy it is to measure your vehicle for the proper size shocks. We figure out the compressed and extended length you need for your vehicle. It's easier than you think, so give it a try!

As I mentioned in the video, you need to find the angle of the triangle near the bump stop. To do this, just put the 3 lengths of the triangle into the calculator and it will give you the angles of all the corners.
Next, erase the figures in the calculator and replace them with the one angle by the bump stop, the shortened length on the axle side, and the length from the bump stop to the top mounting point (which should be the same). The calculator will give you the length of the shock at this compressed length now.
