BSRIA Conference 2021: Jon Nuttal of Hoare Lea, Using data to drive performance-based outcomes.
To enable low energy buildings and to help evolve building design; we need actual, good quality data to inform design decisions. In many cases, design solutions are carried over from previous projects – potentially creating more buildings with high energy consumption. Additionally, good data can help fault find and improve energy efficiency in operation. Providing and publishing data will enable a transition to more low energy buildings.
