In this video, I recreate Nightcall by Kavinsky and break down the main elements of the track.
I show how the main synth was built using a Juno-style approach, how the bass is layered, how the arpeggiator drives the melodic riff, and how Ozone Match(EQ helps get closer to the original tone.
I also go through the drum processing, reverb sends, and a simple but effective master chain to glue everything together.
