Beginners Tutorials. In this tutorial I demonstrate how to determine the size of a file stored on your computer. It is basically the same in Windows XP, Vista and WIndows 7. In this video I show how to determine file size using XP then Windows 7. There are multiple ways to view the file size using File Explorer including hovering over the file with your mouse pointer, right clicking on the file and then choosing properties from the context menu the come up, and choosing the details view in the File Manager and looking at the file size column.
