This time I bring you this movie, by one of my favorite directors, Robert Rodriguez.
Although this movie is not even close to my favorite from its director, it seems quite entertaining, in addition to the fact that it has as a beautiful thing the debut on the big screen in the United States of the very precious Salma Hayek
Roadracers is a 1994 television movie directed by Robert Rodríguez, his second feature film following the success of his 1992 debut, El Mariachi. The film was originally aired on Showtime Network as part of its Rebel Highway series that took the titles of the 1950s B-movies and applied them to original films starring up-and-coming 1990s actors (including artists like Alicia Silverstone and Shannen Doherty) and directed by established directors such as William Friedkin, Joe Dante and Ralph Bakshi. Rodríguez was the only young director who participated in the series.
Dude Delaney (David Arquette), who dreams of leaving his small town dead-end and becoming a Rockabilly star, but finds himself embroiled in an unpleasant enmity with the city's local sheriff (William Sadler) and his son (Jason Wiles). Salma Hayek plays Dude's girlfriend Donna.
Cynical look at the Rebel Rocker of the 50s back in the US who has to face her future, thugs with knives and the half-touched sheriff of the city.
Enjoy it, people, I say goodbye taking a coffee.
