Volvo Wiper Repair
Time for another feature length automobile repair video...our first major breakdown with the 1987 Volvo 240DL! While this is long at some 28 minutes, it's nothing compared to the hours we spent fixing this. Many of those hours were spent removing various things from under the dash. I did some brutal editing of this video...there was originally much closer to an hour's worth of footage!
I've never seen a windshield wiper mechanism quite like this one!
This was shot in 1080i (later deinterlaced) high definition. As proof that I'm so not living in the future out here in the sticks, this took almost a day to upload even with compression that was set a little on the harsh side.
Can you hear the Buick horn? (Hint: It occurs sometime within the first five minutes of the video.)
I still haven't done anything with the wiring on the tractor. This video was shot on Friday November 11th, 2011.
