In this cultural melting pot, three very different people of Los Santos are trying to find their place in society; however, they often do so outside the law. Although Michael, Franklin and Trevor come from very different worlds, they have one thing in common: all three believe life has played a trick and they want to get their share of the riches of Los Santos ... at any price.
When fate, fortune and unite their diverse backgrounds, the heterogeneous trio plans a series of dangerous and bold strokes that could solve all your future ... or put them in the firing line of the great criminals who dominate the city.

The map of the city of Los Santos, including the countryside, mountains and surrounding desert is bigger than the worlds of GTA IV, GTA San Andreas and Red Dead Redemption together.
The vibrant city has everything you would expect from a large metropolis: shops, bars, clubs, workshops and more, and can interact with them. If you get tired of the hustle and bustle of the big city, you can always visit one of the golf courses of Los Santos, as well as play tennis, practice your aim in the shooting gallery or enjoy one of the many activities available. And if that does not appeal, you can also search your favorite car, customize it as you like and walk around the city while listening to music blaring from the various radio stations.
Finally, if you want to escape from the concrete jungle, you can go to the hills of Vinewood, explore the great Sonoran Desert, climb Mount Chilliad, swim in the Alamo sea and do practically anything you can imagine. Wherever you go, you will find other people exploring the landscape, fishing, hiking or even practicing extreme sports, such as freefall and BASE jumping.
