Wisconsin-based costume maker Brandon Johnson is best known as Spiritwalker, a sentient four-legged creature with a humanlike face. Using thrifted materials and trash, Johnson handmakes and wears the 9-foot-tall costumes as an outlet to perform, inspire and delight.
