AI Search in your database - Hamish Ogilvy, Algolia
Using the new Algolia inference API, we’ve enabled almost any database and datastore to become AI search capable. This is done using Algolia’s neural hashing technology, a significantly more cost effective alternative to vector search that allows developers to build new AI capabilities from within their existing databases. This talk introduces the Inference API and runs through a demo using SQLite as the storage backend.
