How to Compress Video in Google Photos?
This video shows you the hidden Google Photos setting to automatically make your videos smaller and free up storage space on your Google account.
Follow these simple steps:
Open your web browser (like Chrome).
Go to the Google Photos website: photos.google.com
On the top left corner, click the Menu icon (it looks like three lines).
From the menu that opens, scroll down and select Settings.
Inside Settings, you will see two choices: Original quality and Storage saver.
Click on Storage saver.
Google Photos will now automatically compress your future uploads. Your existing photos and videos will also be converted to save space over time.
That's it! You have successfully turned on the feature to reduce video size and save storage.
