Mini Tesla Coil Plasma Speaker Kit - 12v Solar Shed
This Tesla Coil Musical Kit is available on eBay quite cheaply. It's a fairly easy thing to build as well with a low component count. Once it is running it is pretty cool to watch.

Update! I found the kit works even better at a higher voltage input - 22 to 24volts seems to produce the nicest discharge - • Tesla Coil Short - 12v Solar Shed
