Short Film Synopsis:
Seyed is a lonely Middle Eastern refugee and restaurant owner yearning for acceptance in America. He finds love and admiration through his employees, Karen - a social misfit with an attitude, and Paul - a misunderstood "punk" suffering from Turrets Syndrome. Despite their differences, Seyed treats his fellow outcasts like the family he never had, and he defends them at all costs when an armed robber enters the restaurant. Lying on the floor and bleeding, Seyed comes to a realization that death accepts all.
"Exit Strategy" is a commentary on the social issues immigrants and Americans face while seeking acceptance.
