[PC] - ESO - Veteran Maelstrom Arena Final Round - Flawless Conqueror - DV's Quest is complete!
When Orsinium was released for Elder Scrolls Online about 7 years ago as the game's official 2nd DLC, one thing that made you the best in the game, stood tall and out of my reach: beating Veteran Maelstrom Arena's Hard Mode. You must beat the entire Arena from start to finish on a single life. If you died, disconnected or left for any reason, it would count as a death, and you had to start over from Round 1 AFTER incurring a 15 minute penalty.
4 Years Ago, I beat Veteran Maelstrom Arena on a live stream in the middle of the night, using a Non-Meta Build that I came up with myself. That gave me the energy I needed to keep grinding to become The Flawless Conqueror.
4 Years and thousands of hours later on the same toon, I achieved what I thought was impossible for me. This was the one thing that stood in my way from being among the best of the best. While folks went for meta builds, I always stuck with unconventional builds.
I was unsure about recording the entire thing, because I didn't want to break my concentration. The Poison Round always had me the most nervous, because it's always the place where No Death runs go to die. Once I made it to the final Arena officially, I fired up recording and just went for it.
My quest is now complete. Unless I'm doing it for fun, I have no more reason to run this place anymore.
