Block Elements with uBlock Origin
How to Block Elements using uBlock Origin Extension.
Instructions;
Left click the uBlock Origin button in the top right hand corner (default position)
Left click Element Picker Mode (eyedropper icon)
Select the element you want to block. Make sure to get move the mouse until the entire element is highlighted
In the bottom left hand corner look for Cosmetic Filters and left click the line (URL most of the time) that you want to block then click Create
Reload the webpage by pressing F5 or right click then click the reload icon (circular arrow)
If you created the rule successfully you will no longer see the offending element
Done
To remove the filter left click uBlock Origin
Left click on dashboard
Left click My Filters
Then highlight and delete or backspace the filter. Close uBlock Origin tab. Then reload the web page.
