Get the Kleenex and share in the dividends as I get some return on my investment! 😁 Our final chorus rehearsal had long consisted of the tradition of jamming with the kids on one of my originals. I was really happy to bring that back this year with this song I wrote years back for a friend who couldn't find her glow because she had given too much of it away to those who would take advantage. This seemed like the perfect song to sing with the luminous kids of the PS22 Chorus of 2023 to punctuate the lessons learned this year. ("Give your love, but keep some for yourself, Give your love but know when it's enough") And the kids, as you've come to expect, enhanced the song beyond measure, and for that and much more, I am truly grateful to them. Goodbyes are always hard but the meaningful ones leave an impression, and I hope these kids know they've left a glowing one upon on us all.
A special thank you to Ms. Lisa for her particularly beautiful filming on this one and, with our wonderful friend Ms. Natalie, always being there above and beyond the call of duty. There aren't enough words to thank you both, but let it be said, you are an intrinsic part of this operation -- we simply couldn't do this without you! 💞💞
