EMC debugging - Near field Electric field probes
#79 In this video I look at how near field probing can help you debug EMC issues. This is a non-invasive technique that can be quite helpful in pinpointing emission sources on units when the exact location is not well known. In this video I look at the principles behind the electric field probe and how such a device can be constructed. Afterwards I measure a practical circuit to try and find some emissions.
