This video provides a complete walkthrough of several FluxJet kayak features, modifications, rigging options, and durability upgrades. ‪@wolf_of_walmart‬ covers the accessory mounts, threaded inserts, electrical system, seating improvements, and overall hull strength while showing real examples from on-water use and warehouse testing.

The video starts with the accessory plates, including the cup holder with a built-in channel tray that allows your transducer cable to pass through while still keeping the holder fully functional. Wolf also breaks down the delete plates, which allow mounting options for forward-facing sonar pivot arms, phones, cameras, and compact fish finders using lock-and-load style bases.

The FluxJet uses threaded inserts throughout the tracks, which means users can remove the factory track and replace it with YakAttack or other aftermarket tracks. These inserts are metric, keeping the entire system consistent and making accessory installation more precise and secure.

‪@wolf_of_walmart‬ also details the threaded inserts for a bow-mounted trolling motor. The FluxJet team is finalizing a bow-mount plate that will integrate cleanly with the front lid compartment and the kayak’s track system while maintaining proper clearance.

The electrical system uses a two-prong connector that is fully compatible with ‪@nocqua‬ This allows you to plug in lights, cameras, or other accessories using Nocqua’s adapters, USB-C attachments, or splitters. FluxJet originally considered switching to a different connector style for new kayaks, but redesigned the system to keep full compatibility with Nocqua and other two-prong brands.

Wolf also highlights the upgraded seat with new materials and a redesigned lower bar to reduce foot and leg numbness. Over two hundred seats were scrapped to achieve the current design, ensuring that every new kayak ships with the improved version.

The video then moves into durability testing. The FluxJet hull has been dragged across rocks, logs, boat ramps, and rough terrain by the team to ensure long-term reliability. FluxJet is also working with Burley Pro to develop a full Q-Guard option for the bow to provide additional protection in rocky environments.

Wolf shows a cut-out section of the kayak, demonstrating that the hull is approximately a quarter inch thick throughout, with even more material buildup at the molded edges due to the rotomolding process. The underside is intentionally overbuilt to withstand harsh use.

Finally, the video shows a real-world example of how the transducer protection plate performs. After being slammed into a waterfall rock, the plate was cracked, but the transducer underneath was nearly untouched. This validated the importance of the plate and confirmed that it does not interfere with sonar readings in any way. Replacement plates will be available on the website for anyone who needs one.
