Luncheon with the Experts: Simron Singh, MD, MPH, FRCPC
Simron Singh, MD, MPH, FRCPC, medical oncologist and affiliate scientist in the Odette Cancer Research Program at Sunnybrook Research Institute in Toronto, Canada, was the featured guest for Luncheon with the Experts on November 5,2020. Dr. Singh is co-head of a multidisciplinary neuroendocrine clinic at Sunnybrook’s Odette Cancer Center, one of the first in the region. He is involved in numerous activities in the care of neuroendocrine cancer patients including the role of Ki-67 as a prognostic marker, and the utilization of health care resources in the diagnosis and treatment of neuroendocrine tumor patients. His research interests also include population health and cancer care utilization discrepancies.
Dr. Singh serves on the Board of Directors of the North American Neuroendocrine Tumor Society, NANETS, as well as on the NET Symposium Program and Membership and Diversity Committees. He is also active in CommNETs, the Commonwealth Neuroendocrine Tumor research collaborative.
