This video explains how to use the command: Burst.
I talk about the differences and benefits of the BURST and Explode commands in AutoCAD.
BURST is an express tool that has been available for quite a while now but seems to get forgotten about in times when it could really be useful.
The best time to use the BURST Command is when you have a block with custom attributes and you would like to explode it while
keeping the attribute values in the process rather than having them convert back to the default value. Check out the video to see what I mean and to
start using Burst in your daily workflow.
Explodes selected blocks, preserving the block layer and converting attribute values to text objects.
The component objects are placed on the layer of the block and do not revert to their original layers.
The values of any attribute objects are preserved by converting them to text objects.
