Creating a ringtone on iPhone without using iTunes
Required apps: GarageBand
Steps: Open Safari
Open any mp3 ringtones website and download the required ringtone then close safari
Open files and press long press on downloaded ringtone and press copy then close files
Open GarageBand, select audio recorder, press on the bars icon in the upper side then press on the bars below it and press paste, if the ringtone is long you will need to extend the bars by pressing “+” at the upper right corner
Press on the arrow pointing downwards at the upper left corner then press my songs
After saving the ringtone press long press on it then press share, then press ringtone and name it then press expert at the upper right corner.
Then open settings then sounds and you’ll find the ringtone listed.

Note: you can use GarageBand to trim a ringtone from a song.
