The video begins as a flashback to a December basketball game in 1997 between the Chicago Bulls and the Los Angeles Lakers of the National Basketball Association. NBA superstar Kobe Bryant is asked on how he feels about being compared to Michael Jordan. Kobe responds by saying "it's an honor to be compared to Michael Jordan".
Then there's some great footage of Michael Jordan and Kobe Bryant going at it head to head. Michael makes his vintage jump shot and Kobe runs the lane on the fast break and finished with the fancy slam dunk. Michael Jordan goes off for 36 points while Kobe Bryant is sizzling with 33 points in this classic match up. Kobe sends the message to the NBA that he is the future.
In an interview Kobe Bryant admits that everything he does well in his basketball career is compared to what Michael Jordan has done. He admits the comparison is a great honor and claims that Jordan's helped him out and his given him great advice throughout his career that he still uses to this day.
Michael Jordan then admits in an interview that he loves Kobe Bryant's game and reveals that he's Kobe's "cursed" like him in that he can't do the same things on the basketball court that his younger self could and that success isn't as easy as it used to be.
Kobe Bryant is then shown doing his work out in the gym and the fiery determination in his nature cannot be denied. Michael Jordan then admits that the next Michael Jordan or Kobe Bryant is "going to happen" and that the NBA community should just sit, watch and enjoy it.
Lastly, we have an interview with Kobe Bryant where Kobe talks about passing Michael Jordan on the all-time NBA scoring list. Kobe Bryant at this time is only 9 points away from passing MJ on the scoring list. Bryant says that it's eventually going to happen and it's a great accomplishment, but he doesn't think too much about it.
