GOOD TO GO talks to The Deputy Commissioner of NYC Department of Sanitation, Ron Gonen, about the importance of reusable cups and recycling to reduce the impact of disposable coffee cups on NYC's garbage.
GOOD TO GO exists to inspire New York City's coffee drinkers and retailers to do good and feel good as ambassadors of their city by reducing the waste from disposable cups whilst keeping New York's iconic coffee culture alive and kicking!
Disposable to-go cups fill up NYC's trash cans at the rate of 7 million per day, creating tons of waste every year. Is this what we want from the convenience of a coffee cup?
This month GOOD TO GO is putting on exciting public events, piloting new reusable cup schemes with our partners, the Brooklyn Roasting Company, and getting NYC artists to paint up our disposable cup trash!
