Meet The Counts: 5 Simple Count Functions in Excel
In this video, you'll discover 5 ways to count anything and everything in Excel. The first three are quite simple and covered off quickly and the last two give you complete control over exactly what to count such as how to count cells with text and counting based on multiple criteria.

(0:00) Why and when to use a COUNT function
(0:40) Count the number of occurrences (numerical)
(1:22) Count the number of blank entries
(1:49) Count the number of populated cells (any content)
(2:17) Count the number of cells with text only (i.e. ignore numbers)
(3:22) Count the number of cells with text (example 2)
(3:35) COUNTIF: Count cells using a single criteria
(4:14) COUNTIFS: Count cells using a 2 or more criteria (example 1)
