Can you guess which one is alkaline?
You've probably heard the term "pH" used to describe the quality of drinking water, but do you know what it means?
A substance's pH is a measurement of electrically charged particles.
It tells whether a substance is acidic or alkaline (basic).
The pH scale ranges from 0 to 14, with 0 being the most acidic and 14 being the most alkaline.
The pH of acidic water is less than 7. The pH of the most acidic compounds is 0. This is where battery acid comes in.
A pH of 8 or above indicates alkaline water. The pH of the most alkaline compounds, such as lye, is 14.
Pure water has a pH of 7 and is referred to as "neutral" because it is neither acidic nor basic.
Kangen Water has a pH level of 9.5pH
