How to Fix Black Myth Wukong Not Launching
Game not launching at all? Follow these steps to fix it.
Step 1: Update GPU Drivers
Download and install the latest driver for your graphics card:
NVIDIA - https://www.nvidia.com/en-us/drivers/
AMD - https://www.amd.com/en/support/downlo...
Intel - https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/...
Restart your PC after installation.
Step 2: Run b1.exe as Administrator
Navigate to the game directory. Right-click b1.exe - Properties - Compatibility tab. Check "Run this program as an administrator." Click Apply and OK.
Step 3: Verify Integrity of Game Files
In Steam, right-click Black Myth Wukong - Properties - Installed Files - Verify integrity of game files.
Step 4: Add -dx11 Launch Option
Right-click Black Myth Wukong - Properties. In Launch Options, type: -dx11
Step 5: Turn Off Shader Pre-Caching
In Steam, go to Settings - Downloads. Under Shader Pre-Caching, uncheck "Enable Shader Pre-Caching."
Step 6: Clear Steam Download Cache
Still in Downloads, click "Clear Download Cache." Steam will restart.
Restart your PC. Launch Black Myth Wukong.
